Thinking about having a green meal, your first thought might be a salad. Or a green smoothie. Yet, there are many more options. How about having some green candy? It’s sweet, and light, and yummy. Easy to prepare, too.
All you need are these three ingredients:
– 1 handful of fresh mint leaves
– 1 tsp barley grass powder
– 5-6 dates (i used deglet; if you prefer medjool, you will probably need no more than 3 of them)
These will make about six nice green balls. To prepare more, simply multiply the amounts given.
So, pit the dates, and put all ingredients in your blender. Blend until you’ll get a kind of dough – it will be a quite sticky dough. Shape into balls and roll in some more barley grass powder.
