Greens, seaweed and sprouts stay, pumpkin and beetroot as well, but fruit, including non-sweet cooling fruit like cucumber and zucchini (my staples during the last months) make place for more warming vegetables, more root vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>What i really love these days is raw soup. Blended root vegetables with warming spices and seaweed.<\/p>\n<p>Like this raw carrot soup:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>What you need (serves one):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 BIG! carrots (like those they sell for juicing)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/39nBr91\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dulse flakes<\/a><\/li>\n<li>juice of 1\/2 lemon<\/li>\n<li>fresh garlic\u00a0 (1 clove)<\/li>\n<li>fresh ginger root\u00a0 (about 1\/2 inch)<\/li>\n<li>1 <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/37ikFGF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">medjool date<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How to prepare:<\/p>\n<p>Roughly chop the carrots, pit the date, peel the garlic.<\/p>\n<p>Put all ingredients in your <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2F31H9r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vitamix<\/a>, add some water (1\/4 cup for a creamy soup; more if you want) and blend until smooth and creamy.<\/p>\n<p>You can go on mixing one more minute to slightly heat your soup.
