Heavy Metal Detox Bliss Balls
What you need:
– fresh ripe coconut or shredded coconut, 150g
– banana, about 300g
– grounded chufas (tiger nuts) as needed
– 1 tblsp spirulina powder
– 1 tblsp barley grass juice powder
– 2 tblsp wild blueberries, fresh or frozen
– 1 handful fresh cilantro
– 1 pinch dulse flakes
Devices you’ll need
Do this in advance:
You’ll need dried banana for this recipe. Peel and slice the bananas and dehydrate them at 42°C (107°F) for about 8 to 12 hours.
In case you want to use fresh coconut, you will have to grate it. The easiest way to do this is with your Vitamix. Let the Vitamix run on medium speed (4-5), and put in pieces of coconut one by one through the opening in the lid.
In case you want to use frozen blueberries, let them thaw and pour off the juice before adding them; otherwise you will get a cream instead of a dough (which is also yummy anyway).
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to your Vitamix and process until you have a dough. If the mixture is too wet, add grounded tiger nuts until it becomes more sticky and moldable. Don’t add to much of them, you don’t want to have a firm dough; just enough so you can shape it into balls.
Shape it into balls and roll them in coconut flakes. Let sit in the fridge for some hours or overnight, and serve chilled.
Enjoy!
