It’s spring. Time to clean and detoxify your body. Today, i have a super simple recipe for you, that will help you to energize and clean your body, detoxify your liver, provide your body with lots of vitamines, minerals, water, and is really easy to prepare – and yummy, of course!
Wild edibles, herbs and fruit, are the best, most powerful, most healing food mother nature is providing us with! And they are almost everywhere available, even in your area. You might have to move a bit farer than to the supermarket around the corner, but chances are that you will find a place close enough to your place to go and get your wild greens on a regular basis.
People use to ask me if some cooked food every now and then is bad. Or the state, that a little bit of cooked food won’t harm them, as long as it is not much, and/or is a simple meal, homemade from fresh produce. Others claim that you can eat and drink whatever you want, that “everything” is okay, as long as you enjoy it in moderation. This “everything” might contain alcoholic drinks, animal products, sugar, industrial food …
So – what is my answer to this question?
Probably you have been asked this, too. Or people asked “So what is left for you to be allowed on this diet?” Most of the people are not aware of the abundance, the diversity, of the natural food. Fruit, vegetables, greens, nuts, seeds … so many things are growing out there for us to eat.
DO you LIVE your life?
Do you live YOUR life?
Do you follow your heart? Doing, what YOU really want to do?
Do you show up, with your truth, each and every day, in everything you are doing?
Or … are you procrastinating? Day by day pushing along what you are here for? Maybe you are scared to do something wrong. Maybe you don’t know WHAT you are meant to do. Looking for your purpose in this life while missing your life?
Come back! Here! In this moment! There’s nothing more to do but following what your heart is telling you to do right NOW. Big or small things. In each and every moment.

After many years living on a raw vegan diet based on fruit and greens, lowfat, i switched to keto raw vegan almost one year ago. My diet still containing lots of greens, yet no (or almost no) sweet fruit. Much more fat, though.
So today, i want to share what i learned this last year. Asking what is “better” – low carb or high carb – i will tell you, what works for me and what does not. And, of course, how my diet looks like now.
On saturdays (and at some places on sunday), all around the island farmers’ markets are taking place. This is where i buy most of my food. I often posted pictures from all that i bought (biiiiig bunches of greeeens); today i have a small collection of detailed pictures to share. Asking you: which of these do you know? Please comment 🙂

Protein. The word “protein” comes from the Greek “proteios”, meaning “of prime importance”. Yet, like written in “The China Study“, “The story of protein is part science, part culture, and a good dose of mythology.”
Nowadays, a lot of us know that we don’t need as much protein as has been stated for a long time – until now. Quite the contrary: the China Study and many more studies have shown that eating lots of protein promotes cancer and other diseases.
So again – it has been quiet here for some weeks now. Wintertime, my need to be in silence, to look inwards, to listen to my self. Combined with many things that had to be done, working in the gardens, computer work, and so on.
I really love all my tasks, yet i need to take care for staying balanced. It’s so important to find enough time for my self, and to stay focused on what is important. Discipline. Every now and then i forget this, or get overwhelmed from what is happening in my world, and am challenged to refind my inner balance. Lucky i am, as this gives me the chance to learn, again and again. Each time, i find something new, and each time i find more happiness, more gratitude. I even enjoy this state of not-being-in-balance. Embrace it, go with it.
